Picture light with remote – light over the artwork without cords

A picture light should lift the artwork, not call for an electrician. This one runs on a built-in battery and hangs from a small wall plate, so the light lands over the picture with no cable, junction box or drilled cable channels. The light tube is 41 cm long and sits on two articulated arms.

The Light

Three colour temperatures and dimming

Choose warm 2800 K, neutral 4000 K or cool white 6000 K depending on the artwork and the room. Brightness dims from full output down to 10 % in five steps. The light tube pivots on its joint, so you can aim the light at the canvas and avoid glare on the glass.

Control

Remote and button

Switch on, switch off and dim from the sofa with the included remote. It also has a timer of 15, 30 or 60 minutes, after which the lamp switches itself off. If you'd rather get up, there's a button on the side of the box.

Battery

Charged via USB-C

The lamp charges via USB-C in about four hours, both mounted on the wall and off it. A fully charged 4 000 mAh battery gives roughly ten hours of light at full output. A red light shows it is charging, and green means it is full.
