Where do I send my return?

How to send a return

  1. Contact us: Email support@hemlund.se with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Repack the item: Put the product back securely in its original packaging and make sure all labels and accessories are included.
  3. Ship the parcel: Follow the instructions in your return authorization email. Use a reliable, tracked shipping service.

Refund process: Once we receive your returned item it will be inspected. After approval a refund is issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the return.

We don't offer exchanges — return the item for a refund and place a new order. Any questions, email support@hemlund.se.

A flat return fee of $4.99 (UK: £3.99) is deducted from the refund when you change your mind (free of charge if the item is faulty, damaged or wrong).

How long do I have to return an item?

We offer 30-day returns from the day you receive your order. The statutory 14-day right to cancel (UK) is included within those 30 days.

How long does it take to get my money back?

Once approved, your refund is issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the return. Please allow up to 7 business days for the money to show up, depending on your bank.

How long does the lantern stay lit per charge?

After a full sunny day the battery (1,500 mAh) has enough power to glow all night – usually 8–12 hours. In cloudy weather the run time can be shorter.

Is it a real flame?

No – the flame effect is created by LED technology that mimics a dancing flame. There is no open fire, no heat and no fire risk. The lantern is cool to the touch and safe to keep near children and pets.

Does the lantern turn on automatically?

Yes. A built-in dusk sensor turns the lantern on automatically when it gets dark and switches it off when it gets light in the morning. You don't have to do a thing.

Can the lantern handle rain and outdoor weather?

Yes. The lantern is IP65 rated, which means it handles rain, splashes and moisture. It is built for outdoor use and copes with normal weather conditions. Avoid submerging it in water.

Can the lantern be hung up or stood on a surface?

Yes, both work. The sturdy handle on top makes it easy to hang the lantern from a hook, a branch or a pergola beam. The box also includes a removable stand for placing it on a table, a step or a garden wall.
